We would like to extend a huge "Welcome!" and a huge "Thank You!" to all our guest who are going to be able to make it in from out of town. We know how hard and expensive travel can be and are thrilled that you have generously spent both to be with us for our wedding.

We choose our wedding date, in part, over a holiday weekend in an attempt to ease the burden on our far-off travelers. The thought being that it would open up additional options for travel and that some of you may want to spend some additional time in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area.

Hotels
We have reserved blocks of rooms at the following hotels near our wedding. The bookings are under Scobel-Forgie Wedding at both hotels.

Airports

The closest airport to our ceremony location is Oakland International Airport (20 miles). Southwest Airlines has many operations out of here and is usually a cheap option into the area. San Francisco International Airport (38 miles) and San Jose International (33 miles) are other nearby airports where you may be able to find reasonable flights.

Ground Transportation

If you are unfamiliar with it, please take a look at B.A.R.T.'s Website. B.A.R.T. has direct service from the Oakland and San Francicso airports to Dublin. It is a cheap, easy and quick way to travel around most of the Bay Area (especially with the traffic in these parts) and might be able to save you from renting a car.
